Pivot Academy Kirklees
Pivot Kirklees is a KS2-5 therapeutic provision for young people with profound or complex conditions. We have 4 different sites that specialise their curriculum and delivery to meet specific needs, including SEMH, Trauma, Emotional Based School Avoidance, ASD and ADD/ADHD. We work with young people from all over West Yorkshire and have, in addition to our main schools at Kirklees, schools in Wakefield and Bradford.
We believe that all children deserve better and this ethos underpins everything we do. We work in small classes, groups, pairs or individually depending on needs. Our staff are highly trained, uniquely skilled and wonderfully motivational. We operate on Nurture and PACE principles, offering as broad a curriculum as learners can engage with, and as they progress, we involve local colleges or work experience.
Our aim is build skills, knowledge and well being to enable our young people to take their next steps with confidence, and enjoy a successful, happy life.
