Fitness week at Ursuline Prep School

It has been a busy week at The Ursuline Prep School, Brentwood. Every member of the school community has been getting active and enjoying different ways to exercise. The week kicked off with a fun filled dance assembly, followed by daily activities in class, including “The Daily Mile” and “Fitness Bingo”. On Thursday, the whole school participated in active workshops led by Tom Worsfold from the Fit4Life Group. Each class had an age appropriate session with the team, focused on Healthy Lifestyles in line with our current PSHEE topic “Healthy Me”, looking at being active, healthy food choices and body confidence. Miss Ameila Allen, Head of Girls PE, was delighted that each child and member of staff participated with enthusiasm and a very positive outlook, thus making the week a very successful experience for all.
