Cake sales to ‘Splat the Teacher’ – ISA schools hold fundraisers for Macmillan Cancer Support, thousands raised
Plenty of ISA schools from across the United Kingdom raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting Macmillan coffee mornings and through other charitable activities. St Bees School in Cumbria laid on a lovely set of cakes for their sale owing to the hard work of their cooking students. They didn’t stop there though as they also held a raffle as part of the brilliant ‘Splat the Teacher’ event that many of us would’ve wished for during our days at school. Bridgewater School in Manchester held their Macmillan cake sale as a breaktime treat event, which was organised by Year 13 and the school’s dedicated charity coordinators. It looked like sprinkles galore as there were donuts and brownies also on offer.
