This course aims to support school leaders in understanding the purpose of strategic development plans. We will explore how SDPs are linked to values and vision, and how these should be incorporated into the SDP. Participants will be asked to reflect on the different ways in which long term planning is led. We will also explore some of the challenges experienced in the creation and implementation of SDPs and ensuring that they continue to deliver over long periods of time.
