Andy is a highly experienced EYFS Trainer and a key member of the Early Excellence Curriculum Team. With a rich background as an EYFS teacher and school leader, Andy has spent many years exploring open-ended, creative, and innovative approaches to learning. He specialises in supporting practitioners to develop high-quality practice in both the EYFS and KS1.
Throughout his career, Andy has held a variety of leadership roles, including teaching from Nursery to Year 2, serving as an EYFS Leader, Deputy Headteacher, and Advanced Skills Teacher. His dynamic expertise in classroom practice has allowed him to shape progressive and impactful learning environments, making him a highly sought-after consultant and trainer in the field of early education.
Mrs Claire Robinson was appointed Headteacher of Holme Grange in 2009.
She started teaching in 2001 following a successful career in Financial Services. Prior to joining Holme Grange, Claire was Headteacher of St Thomas Moore RC Primary School, Kidlington which she guided from a ‘failing school’ to being placed 15th Best Primary School in the UK by the Financial Times. During her time at St Thomas Moore, her contribution to education was recognised with the award of Headteacher of The Year in the South East at the National Teaching Awards.
Claire graduated with a BA in Science and Education from the Open University and completed her PGCE at Oxford Brookes. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Teaching and also a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society of Arts). Claire is also an Associate Challenge Award Assessor and Trainer for NACE (National Association for Able Children in Education) as well as an ISI Inspector.
Since joining Holme Grange, Claire has led the expansion of the School (from 210 pupils to 684), extending the age range from 3-13 to 3-16, taking pupils up to GCSE level. During this time, the buildings and facilities have grown to include a state of the art Theatre and cutting edge classrooms and study spaces. The School has been recognised by the ISA with awards including the Early Years Award for Innovation in Provision, Excellence in Sustainability and Senior School Award for Excellent and Innovation. Holme Grange was first awarded a NACE Challenge Award in 2013, which was reviewed and re-accredited again in 2017 and 2021. Holme Grange is one of only 100 schools in the country to be re-accredited twice and is recognised as a Regional Hub for NACE in the local area. Recently Claire led the school in the Global School Alliance and the school has now entered a Sister School Partnership with a school in Japan.

Indira brings significant knowledge and experience around quality assurance in education based on senior leadership roles in a variety of schools. She has also served as a Chair of Governors at a MAT primary school and a parent governor at a high performing grammar school and selective sixth form college. Indira's qualifications include BSc (Hons) and PGCE (King's College, London) and NPQSL and NPQH (UCL, University College, London).
Dr Kathy holds a LL.B., Masters and Doctorate in Social Science (Criminology) from the University of Cambridge and worked for many years as a policy researcher and research fellow in education. She is the co-author of two books for school staff on “Engaging Parents” (Bloomsbury, 2018;2020) and a sought-after keynote speaker. In 2018, she founded Tooled Up Education: a digital library of evidence-based resources for parents and teachers, on all aspects of parenting, education and family life.
Dr Weston works with a team of researchers who collaborate with some of the world’s most eminent researchers. By having access to the most up-to-date research findings, Tooled Up is able to bridge the world of research with real-life by curating and developing usable tips, activities and advice that can empower parents or those who work with children. This unique, digital library grows in response to requests from schools and parents, making it a powerful hub of most relevant content in the educational space today.
