The online booking form requires delegates to tick that they have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions and that they have the proper authority from the appropriate person in school to accept these conditions.
Fees: The fee includes refreshments, tuition and access to course materials. It does not cover the cost of travel to and from the venue or car parking fees (if applicable). Accommodation is included in the fee only for Annual Conference, Autumn Study Conference and Heads' Induction Course.
Day course in school venue: £150 and £90 for a second delegate from the same school. If you book further delegates (i.e. third and fourth places) these will be charged at the rate of £150 for the third delegate and £90 for the fourth delegate.
Twilight course in school venue: £65 and £55 for a second delegate from the same school.
Day course in hotel: £150 with no reduction for second delegate. Delegates have the option to book reduced rate accommodation directly with the hotel, if required. Please visit the event page on the website for full details.
We welcome non-ISA Members to our day courses (except for the Inspection training courses) at a cost of £170 per delegate. If there is pressure on capacity, we reserve the right to restrict attendance at our courses and conferences to ISA member schools only.
The Autumn Study Conference is open to ISA Members and Senior Leadership Teams. The Annual Conference and Heads' Induction Course are open to ISA Members only. Please note that the Heads' Induction Course is by invitation only.
The cost of these residential courses and conferences can be found by accessing the individual course or conference using your ISA username and password. The fee includes accommodation, meals and conference fee.
We take payment by BACS or cheque. Upon receipt of your booking details, we will issue an invoice which will be emailed direct to the person who made the booking. Payment is due 30 days from the invoice date, except for bookings made within 30 days of the course date for which invoices must be paid immediately so that payment is received prior to the course.
For the Annual Conference, Autumn Study Conference and Heads' Induction Course all hotel payments are paid directly to ISA, with the exception of any extras, for which the delegate is responsible for settling with the hotel on departure. The choice of residential course and conference options is fixed and cannot be varied.
All invoices raised by the Association are to include the terms as outlined above, including Executive's powers to levy interest and costs. All correspondence will be sent electronically under Article 77 except where stated above.
Amendments to bookings must be notified in writing to courses@isaschools.org.uk at least ten working days before the course date.
Day course cancellations must be notified by email to courses@isaschools.org.uk. A substitute delegate will be accepted providing he or she meets the required criteria. If no substitute is offered, schools will be liable for the full cost of the course. If a cancellation is due to an impending ISI inspection, please notify ISA immediately.
ISA does not offer a refund but a place of the same value in a subsequent course within that academic year can be booked. ISA will accept no responsibility for delegates' accommodation or travel costs.
Residential Conference cancellations must be notified by email to courses@isaschools.org.uk but schools will still be liable for the full cost of the conference. Conference fees are not refundable.
ISA reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule a course in exceptional circumstances. In the event of cancellation due to extreme weather conditions, ISA will notify delegates using the personal contact numbers and email addresses provided at the point of booking, no less than 24 hours before the registration time for the event. Delegates are advised to check the ISA website home page for cancellation information.
A full refund of the course fee will be provided where delegates are unable to attend any alternative date(s) offered. However, ISA will accept no responsibility for any travel or accommodation costs incurred.
ISA reserves the right to amend the advertised programme of any course or conference in the event of circumstances beyond our control. ISA will not be liable for any real or consequential loss arising from such alterations or amendments to the programme content.
